Crafting Impactful Solutions
My name is Alexis Huddleston-Monroy and I am in the final stages of my Masters program through Drexel University. Throughout my time at Drexel I have enhanced my corporate communication, social listening and branding skills. I became Hootsuite certified and continue to implement strategic and digital communication strategies in various spaces and projects that I am a part of. My utmost priority is delivering quality service for a valued customer experience tailored around transparency and Corporate Social Responsibility. As a hard worker I am dedicated to fostering environments of inclusivity and encourage others to partake in projects that align with their professional or educational goals.
Aside from fostering environments of inclusivity within a workplace, I also strive to foster those environments within my state and local government. I am a long-time community advocate and am currently involved with two organizations: the Iowa Unity Coalition and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). I was re-elected to be a board member for the Iowa Unity Coalition in February of 2025. I am also the Vice Chair for LULAC council 307. I encourage others to engage with their local organizations to build relationships, strengthen their communities and empower their neighbors.
In my free time I enjoy plant collecting, journaling, reading, playing video games and cooking. I also have my own personal projects that I love to make mock files for on Canva. I am engaged and will be married in February of 2026. I also have two lovely cats named Izzy and Cleo.
